Mental health was one of the reasons I started my IG page @oh_boymama. After suffering a traumatic miscarriage in 2018, I was really struggling and needed help. I tried speaking to my family and friends about how I felt but it wasn’t helping me and it ended up putting a strain on many of my relationships.
I knew I needed outside help and finding a therapist who I could freely and openly talk to was the best thing I have ever done for myself. I have been so fortunate in being able to connect with other moms on here who have had similar experiences. Listening to their stories and being able to share my own and feel understood has been incredibly healing.
If you are struggling right now, I can promise you that you are not alone. There is always help available, and asking for help does not make you weak. It’s okay to not be okay.
